Hi, we’re Ben and Sam, founders of 2008 Brothers, a small startup based in the Seattle metro area.
We’ve been close friends since college. After graduation, we both ended up in the typical office life: 10+ hours a day in front of screens, endless meetings, late nights finishing reports or code. Over time, that caught up with us. The same lower back discomfort started showing up every afternoon and never really went away.
We tried pretty much everything. Expensive ergonomic chairs that felt okay at first, but became uncomfortable the moment we changed posture. Separate massage cushions and pads were even worse: they either needed to stay plugged in, fell off after a few shifts, or just did basic vibration with no real control.
